Today’s the day we’re allowed to publicly announce that we’ve achieved a three-peat on the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Companies. Of course, we feel proud. We’ve worked hard to earn our spot and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging the validation.
But this year we also feel—for lack of a better term—weird. True, the 2020 list reflects growth for 2019. But soon after last year’s books were closed, the world changed forever. It’s now eight months later and Full Circle’s still in business. We all have friends, colleagues and family members who are not.
There’s no way of knowing how much loss our industry has yet to withstand. It could take years to realize the breadth of the fallout. In the meantime, we will continue to try to be stewards of quality work, supporting our fellow researchers however we can, quietly recognizing our wins—and humbly acknowledging our blessings.
