Musings from an ISO Quality Manager ///
Next month, Full Circle is launching an initiative in partnership with The Certification Institute for Research Quality (CIRQ): #QUALITYFORALL. Its mission is to raise awareness of ISO 20252:2019 certification as a pathway to increasing brand demand for data quality and consumer trust in the insights industry. You can read more about it here.
Industry organizations and networks worldwide have signed on as Endorsers. And ISO Quality Managers from certified companies are serving as peer-to-peer validation and resources for those who want to learn more. That’s where I come in.
I was invited to be the first #QUALITYFORALL Ambassador. The gig has been great so far. I’m proud to represent the hard work our team has poured into delivering the highest quality product for our clients. I’m even prouder to be a part of a program that has the potential to address the data quality concerns plaguing our entire industry.
But it gets better. Personal and professional development is a big deal at Full Circle. I’ve always known that. Creativity and innovation are heavy hitters, too. That’s what makes my role in this initiative extra-special. Not only have I learned how to be an effective quality compliance manager inside our walls, I’m now challenging myself to lead externally, as well.
Sure, if my name were Tyra or Cindy or Heidi, being our spokesperson would have come naturally. But for me, it’s a new experience. One that gets me out of my comfort zone and on to a 7’ tall banner in the middle of a conference exhibition hall.
Maybe next year, the catwalk.
